Following the death of her significant other, Paul Sizemore, in June of 2014 Jennifer came on as Practice Administrator of the Sizemore Law Firm. At SLF, Jennifer took over the role of managing the firm and assumed Paul’s leadership positions in the Zoloft, Granuflo and Crestor JCCP coordinated proceedings. She went on to gain committee positions in the Xarelto MDL as well as co-liaison counsel of the Paxil JCCP.
The formation of her own firm in December of 2015 represents to Jennifer the culmination of hard work and commitment of dedicated colleagues and friends. She is proud to go forward representing the interests of injured people against the giant pharmaceutical and medical device companies, continuing the work she and Paul were both so passionate about during their life together. In 2017 Jennifer was recognized as a Top 40 under 40 Trial Attorney by The National Trial Lawyers.
Jennifer is a mom of three boys and enjoys being with her kids, traveling, working out and reading.
Jennifer is the founding partner of Lenze Lawyers, PLC. Jennifer studied at the University of San Diego receiving her B.A. in 2002 and Juris Doctorate in 2006. During her time in law school she studied abroad at the Institute on International and Comparative Law, University of Barcelona, Spain and Trinity College, Ireland and was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity.
After law school she began her legal career at the Los Angeles based Plaintiff firm of Girardi & Keese where she worked on large mass tort cases such as Vioxx, Bextra/Celebrex, and Avandia, as well as personal injury cases, environmental suits, and class actions. At GK, Jennifer was honored to receive the distinction of lawyer of the year. In 2009 Jennifer helped start the Sizemore Taylor firm with a focus on pharmaceutical mass torts and offices in both Alabama and California. Eventually Jennifer branched out to form her own firm, Lenze Law, PLC out of Manhattan Beach, California where she currently resides.
Ms. McGee graduated with her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School Los Angeles in 2011. While attending Loyola, she was both a staff writer and editor on the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review, where she published an article entitled “Juror Misconduct in the Twenty First Century: The Prevalence of the Internet and Its Effect on American Courtrooms.”
Ms. McGee has over five years of experience in civil litigation. Before joining Lenze Lawyers, she worked as an associate at both small and large defense firms, focusing her practice on personal injury matters. Now as a plaintiffs lawyer, her unique insight into case evaluation and analysis from the defense perspective has helped her clients resolve issues in an efficient manner, both from a time and cost perspective. At Lenze Lawyers, Ms. McGee has found her passion in advocating for those who are unjustly injured.
Ms. McGee is licensed to practice law in the State of California, as well as the United States District Court, Central and Eastern Districts of California.
